Young Indian professional S Chikkarangappa showed that he is in fine form as he led his team to a win at the Hero Indian Open 2017 Pro-Am on Wednesday morning.
Chikka said, “The Pro-Am is always fun, but it is also a chance to get to play the course one more time before the main event. I am looking forward to it on Thursday.”
Rafa Cabrera Bello, easily the most sought after foreign pro at the Pro-Am also got off to a good start by placing third, while George Coetzee carried his team to second place.
All three teams were tied at 30-under and the final placings were decided on a countback.
