The following year he qualified for his maiden Major at the British Open but missed the halfway cut at Royal Liverpool. Kapur played the 2014 season in Europe, having got back there through the Challenge Tour, where he won twice in 2013 –in the first and last events of the Tour that year. In 2014, he finished an impressive joint 23rd finish at the U.S. Open after missing cuts at British Open in 2006 and 2013. A product of the Delhi Golf Club, he played the European Tour from 2007 to 2012 before losing the card for a year and then got back in 2014.
